Designed by Edward Lutyens at the
turn of the century, Moorhouse stands in 2 acres of delightful grounds

Staff
and care
Moorhouse has been owned and run
for 20 years by the Shepherd family, who consistently endeavour
to provide a tranquil and homely environment where residents may
maintain as much independence of mind and spirit as their condition
will allow. The highest standards of medical and nursing care are
administered under the direct supervision of Barbara Chapman RGN,
who is ably assisted by a team of professionals. Physiotherapy and
chiropody are available as required, while a variety of related
services can be arranged.
Catering
Particular care is taken in the
preparation of food to meet not only individual requirements but
also any diabetic, vegetarian or other special dietary needs. Residents
are welcome to invite their guests to coffee, lunch or tea and drinks
are served at the private bar.
